Tap Into the Future Employer Summit

Join us for an Employer Summit at AWS Skills Center with career center representatives from George Mason University, Northern Virginia Community College, and Marymount University. Network with higher education leaders and other employers and learn how to tap into the next generation of talent. Fairfax County Economic Development Authority is excited to host representatives from George Mason’s Costello College of Business, NVCC’s Career Services Center, as well as the Marymount’s Center for Career Development, who will showcase how to build your company’s brand on their campuses. Take your talent pipelines to the next level and tap into stellar talent from these flagship schools.

GMU, NVCC, and Marymount Teams will share:

• Information on key academic programs
• Schedule for recruiting events and programs
• Opportunities to fund internships through the Virginia Talent Opportunity Partnership
• Strategies for recruiting at their respective university campuses

Location and Directions (Parking will be validated):

AWS Skills Center is a street level space located near Amazon’s HQ2, walking distance from the Crystal City metro station.

Parking is available in the parking garage directly beneath the AWS Skills Center. Follow signs for Alamo Drafthouse to access the closest spaces. Then, take the elevator to street level and turn right.

From the street, you’ll see “AWS Skills Center” in large letters above the storefront door to 1550-G. Upon entry, you’ll see the UVA event check-in at the welcome desk. The event is on the same level (first floor).
