Join the English Empowerment Center for the 4th annual Career and Opportunities Fair on Wednesday, May 6th, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM!
During this event you will meet with employers as well as excellent community service providers who will help you learn and improve your employability and job-seeking skills. Job training, social services, and other community organizations will be present to help you get ready for a great future.
Why Attend?
The fair will give you the opportunity to meet and network with a representative from programs and organizations who can assist you with building skills to find a job, improving your English knowledge, and finding community resources for yourself and your family. Employers promoting open job positions will be present. You will be able to contact them to apply for an interview.
What to Expect?
With the help of our volunteers, you will learn how to network effectively with employers and community partners. Get guidance on how to promote your skills and ask the right questions to seek help. We will also have workshops where an instructor will lead you through 60-minute presentations to help you build a resume, learn how to find a job online or create an email account to get started.
