Career Transition Event for Military-Connected Talent

H.I.R.E Conference 2026 is a career transition event for military members, veterans, spouses, and dependents. Presented by the Boeing Center for Veteran Transition and Military Families at Virginia Tech, the event brings together hiring companies, career resources, and professional development opportunities designed to support the next step in a participant’s career journey.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with employers, explore job openings, and access additional transition and workforce resources throughout the day. The event also includes scholarship and giveaway opportunities, along with free Coursera access for verified transitioning service members, veterans, spouses, and dependents. Participating employers include organizations across technology, government contracting, security, and related industries.
